JR it's generally pretty obvious that you like to jest and are playful. Sometimes the things you say are a little hard to understand, but I like reading the jokes, you're alright in my book.

For myself anyway, I've learned that when I read a post that gets my blood pressure up, the best approach is to take a break and go do something else. Come back to it later after having had some time to think and calm down a bit. Maybe even a few days. Then it's a little easier to make a rational response without anger involved. Fortunately, I have not had to do that very many times in the past 30 years of internet use. This same approach works with email, text messaging and even talking on the phone or in person - you can always just up and leave a conversation and walk away. Responding in anger never seems to go well for anybody.

Had a neighbor that was a L.E.O. The little he could tell us was bad enough. I'm frankly surprised that after a decade or two of that most can hold it together as well as they do.

Just in general from what I see here, I'd expect you were a good cop. Good on you for doing it.

So in closing plese. Im regretful of my harsh words. I was more dissapointed then anything. Black Forrest and I have always had a decent understanding. I guess I was wrong so it took me aback and I responded accordingly. My bust.

Im with you JR, I retired after 30 years a Deputy. **** we see daily builds up and I never really thought of it much while I was working but now that I have retired sometimes thats all I think about. Things no one should ever see in their lifetime. Hang in there and I like your style. LA would have been tough to work in. Paul

And yet I get more gruff form some of you because you dont like the way I operate here. I get it, you dont like the things I say or how I say them and I am an Alcoholic.

FWIW in case anyone is wondering. In "real life" I tend to be just like Barney Fife on Andy Griffith show. I dunno how to shut off my worry gland. But I did go total cold turkey 12 yrs ago, and stayed that way (AA, God). The other choices were not real good (death).

Hey, and I wasn't alluding to anything! I was a cop and very proud of it. If you got a thing for cops then so be it. But dont even try to smudge my outstanding carrier. I have the accolades to prove I was actually very good at my job. So go stuff your "Allude" BS.

I have absolutely nothing against cops. Only respect for the job they do. I just hope you were sober when you were a cop. You post some real off the wall things on here and your replies to others posts are most bull**** and nobody that was a cop could be so illiterate as you seem to be when you post. Mostly just rants.
