Before I invested in a holder that the insert might not fit, I would just braze an insert on a piece of CR. My name is Bob and I'm an HSM'er

Wedge inserts, they are not brazed in use, there is nothing to stop someone from doing so however, this makes them difficult to change (-:

Yeah, I know. I still wouldn't get into chain buying holders trying to find one that the inserts fit. Brazing is harder than fastening with a screw, but not very hard. I'm an HSM'er and I like making-do.
