You could look for a charity or museum that has mechanical exhibits, they might appreciate some extra workshop tools.
The Helicopter Museum where I am a volunteer got an Atlas 12 x 24 lathe and a Tom Senior mill in a legacy, we have the mill working and have almost finished the lathe to sell for funds, a new metal bandsaw is on my wish list.

Agreed, small market, and rural area. But, I think the price is right. Haven’t posted it anywhere else. Craigslist will just get me somebody looking to pick it up for free and to make a dollar on it and that isn’t what what I want. I can try another hobby forum.
This is identical to the lathe I learned on. Got both from the same guy, but had to buy the first one. Acquired other add ones as time went along, and eventually went from a 9x36 to a long bed. It’s not costing me anything to hang on it just tired of wheeling it around and I never did use it.
