Problem is Chevalier wants nothing to do with older equipment.
Can't say I blame them from their stand point but, if you have machines still in the field you could at least have an archivist familiar with the product.
Problem I'm having is with reassembly after replacing the timing belt.
This head has a casting that holds the brake assembly that is unlike Bridgeport and it's proving a bear to get the brake shoes into correct position
without binding the spindle.
The casting stays up a few thousandths and won't sit down flat as the brake shoes slip out of orientation.
