I have a clutch actuator rod with an OD of .232" that travels @ .500" back and forth through a neoprene seal with a .203" ID, leaving a .029 interference fit.
In use lube will be 50W motor oil. I polished out he annular grinding rings on the rod which seemed to work at first but two days later I had to pound it out with a hammer.
Both the rod and seal are new components.
What's the fix for this?
