Okay, I am going to try this request again. I am almost finished with the refurb of my Hendey 12x30 18 speed gearhead lathe. I seems to be running great, however I have ended up with the lock ring/split washer left over and I can't seem to find a home for it. The ring on the right is the lock ring for the leadscrew reverse shaft, which I thought I may have not installed. That was not the case and the removal of the headstock was wasted effort. If anyone who is familiar with this machine knows where this washer (on the right) is suppose to go I would really appreciate knowing. Thanks

Are you absolutely sure that you removed it when you took the lathe to bits? Being quite small,it could only fit in part of the leadscrew geartrain, or apron. It looks a bit rusty, could that be a clue?
