Those look sorta okay. Most of their coupons have so many exceptions anymore it's not worth it. I remember when I could take a coupon in and get a real deal on something I want.

A few years ago things started getting less fun... exclusions, limitations, etc. I once took in a couple of great looking coupons and bought about $700 worth of stuff, including a $300 and a $200 thing... I expected to be saving almost $200. But the expensive things were excluded. By the time the cashier got done with "this is excluded" "that is excluded" the 25% discount was applied to a $15 item and the 20% coupon on a $10 item ...

WHOOOO $5.75 saved. Left a real sour taste... still have it.

These coupons look great and HF stuff has been getting better. But you still need to shop carefully.

I got a HF drill press a few years ago and have no complaints. I worked with a similar Grizzly model which was better due to some features the HF model lacked. Both drilled holes. I believe I used a coupon when I bought it or it was just on sale at the time.

As Dan_the_Chemist said above be sure to check all the small print on those coupons as many of the bigger items are excluded. Years ago, the coupons were a lot more worth it. You still get some savings but not really that great as they are only good on 1 item. Their items seem to be getting alot better in quality but so have many of the prices. I still shop there but many times find the same items just as inexpensive at stores closer to home.

Thanks for posting! I used to love using the ubiquitous 20% off every time I went there. Wish I had one in April for the $90 rotary hammer, but it was totally worth every penny. I get the emails, but so many I stop reading them.

It surely was nice, while it lasted. Free truck shipping, good sales and coupons could all be combined for some hellacious deals.
Amazon and others have picked up some of the slack.

Yep. Those were the days. There were 30% off sales with no exclusions. And unlike HF, it wasn't 30% on one item, it was your entire order. That HF coupon today is nice, but it is only one item and so many things are excluded I'm not sure what you could really buy where it matters.

I joined their insider track thing for 30$ because I saved 20$ on a Doyle bench vise. Needless to say, the next thing I buy will have paid for the membership and then some. The 500lb hydraulic lift cart is 50$ off, tons of things are 30$ to 70$ off.
