I don’t usually take pics of projects I work on but I did on this one. Photobucket pics suck but it’s the best I got.

Here’s the best I have of that bike. It got sold in about this state. Job changes and lack of time left it sitting so it got moved on to a new home.

The second, current bike is a twin, what size is it? A nice box section rear fork would look nice and might well improve the handling. And lower clipon handlebars. I can only dream about bikes like yours, arthritus has put paid to those sort of things, I have to get by with a Suzuki Burgman 400 K8 now.

Second bike is a Yamaha RD350 engine and chassis. I had an aluminum box Swingarm for it but that’s a story for another day.

I could mount the clip ons lower if I wanted but I like them up higher. It gives a little more comfort but it’s not like the bike offers much to begin with.

It is a factory aluminum tank off of a TZ350 race bike from the same era. Colors are going to be white with a red stripe(factory paint scheme) and I have a proper reproduction set of water slide decals for it.

It took a little work to get it mounted on the bike, which I kind of shot myself in foot on but I made the best of it.

Nice job on the H3. I almost got to throw a leg over one for a few laps at the track one time, but the guy couldn't get it running right. Had the same story, different guy though, with an RD too. Pretty common theme with guys that raced old two strokes lol.

Back then, the bikes were not so E-quall as they are now...I drove a gsxr-750 faster than I should have. Dont do that.

The Yamme, rattle box. Honda? Smooth and under powered. Kawi? Fast bike.

The green Kawi was the fast bike at the time , Im 57.

I drove the gsxr-750 162mph for about 4 minutes to get from the 14 freeway north, south to the 5-fwy north to get to work.
