Googling “t8 bug zapper bulb” brings up some hits. I’m not sure if they are all the same or not.

This listing says bf65 in it so there may be some useful info to further continue your search.

I don't know what you will do with the extra bulbs but they are available from Home Depot in a pack of 10 for $17.46.

Those are T5 bulbs, his would be a T8.

Yes, that's correct, those are the "mini" tubes. All I could find at HD was these and they are 14". That's why I'm thinking the one I have is something special.

Yes, what you have is special. It's called obsolete. The T8 bulbs (one inch diameter) are being discontinued and replaced with T5 LED bulbs which are much more efficient. This is a result of action by Congress. I think the action was intended for the lights in offices but your bug zapper light got included. It looks like your choices are the expensive, hard to source bulb to fit the bug zapper you have or replace it with a newer one. Sorry I tried to send you to the wrong bulb.

It may have been special back in the day but it looks like it's obsolete now.
There is the possibility of converting it to LED if I can find a bulb that fits.

Here is one on Amazon. The F12 is the length, the T8 is the size "1" inch OD, the BL is for black light which is what the bug zapper is using. So with this info I got a hit on Amazon and I'm pretty sure that the Congress law was for the common 4' lamps but industry sales folks tell me that the odd lamp sizes will continue to be produced and black lights are odd for sure and the size puts it in that category too.

Yes, but it doesn't give the length anywhere that I can find. Even went to the mfg.'s website. In fact, their PN# 33223 doesn't even come up.
