  • " Running a Regal " book free to a Regal owner

It's a copyright 1931-1938, original Regal book, shipped free to a good home but you gotta meet 3 simple criteria:

    1. you own a Regal gearhead
    2. you don't own this book
    3. you want this book

Please simply post a reply if you want it, I'll pull one of the names (or aliases) on Sunday and PM you for your address info. Also, please don't PM me for it.

    Hi Den,
I own a Regal gearhead, [with a war production board sticker on the headstock] I do not have a copy of this book, and I would like to be the next caretaker of this book.
    Thanks ..... Mike

Hey If you're gonna draw names for it put mine in the hat too.
I also have a Leblond Regal from that era, and could use that book.
I'd certainly be willing to pay you for it.

And too, if any of those old books you have are heavy on shaper operations I'd be interested in those as well.

No need to pay. Just enjoy it if you get it. I think I have some shaper stuff but need to go thru all of it. Den

Now so far we have seen begging, and a bribe offered.

Some folks will stop at nothing for a little knowledge. While others avoid it.

I have a 1947 regal, don't have the book, and would like to be thrown in the hat too. If I loose the draw, and th book has a table or picture of the threading chart, I'd like to get a copy. The chart is missing on mine.

            Thanks,

For those of you who will still be looking after Den draws . . .

Running a Regal is available as an Adobe Acrobat file ("pdf file") from Adrian's metalillness website.

              A link? Ok. http://www.bbssystem.com/viewtopic.php?t=65 If'n I did that right.

It's probably not the best way to do it but I may repeat it with a few other machine specific booklets or pamphlets.
