  • How much is a Tiag with 4th axis worth?

I got someone wanting to sell one but I dont know even how much it could be worth or what I should pay.

Here is the email I have

The mill and 4th axis the computer to run the mill and bobcad software some
bits and other assories. All you need is a computer to install the software
    in.

A lot depends on condition/wear and whether the controller is the stock or an aftermarket. Also check into whether you can transfer the license of Bobcad. Generally I would expect you would pay between 50%-80% of new price, depending, going by past used Taig mills that have sold.

Going by memory so be sure to check me:
new price on my taig about 1 year ago:
        Machine $900
controller about 500 (mine was used for $350)
        steppers ... forgot about $300?
4th axis? Rotary table plus stepper? Maybe $300+ depending on rotary table (probably sherline)
        Bobcad- I have no idea.

Some dealers (hint) offer a discount of some sort.
If it is an aftermarket control then look at the price for the CNC ready mills.
