I was shopping at my favorite hunting grounds when a university truck dropped off a load of refrigeration junk. Wadeing through it I found 2 units that looked like VFDs, a little led window and buttons. Sticker said 220V
15 HP rating. Great, usually when I find them they are 440V, no good to me. At home I am looking up the manual and realize that they can not be used like a VFD speed control
BUMMER But this morning I did gather up a big handfull of twist drills, up to 1/2 in and half a bucket of shiny nuts, bolts, flat washers and not tiny sheet metal screws.
