Yeah, I know it's been done to death, and beyond, but I couldn't find the info on a quick search.

Local guy is selling a bridgeport. Claims he used it in a injection mold shop for 15 years until he moved with the tools to Houston. This one hasn't been used in a couple of years. He's asking $2500

Because of time (on my end), I didn't go through the machine from top to bottom. It's a 2hp 2J head, model XA900-69 81900-658. It was clean, with a light coating of oil and very little rust, mostly on the various bolt heads. It has a Speedway 5 2 axis DRO attached.

Is this somewhere reasonable, or should I just walk?

    Thanks for any help.

At a certain point in the course of any project, it comes time to shoot the engineers and build the damn thing.

    Sounds fair providing everything works.
I've paid more for similar equipment.

Sounds really overpriced and probably not worth YOUR time. Better send me the address and phone and I'll check it out.

Seriously, jump on it with both feet and wrap your arms around it. That's half price for that equipment down here. If it's not to your liking, you could easily double your money in these parts.
