  • antique tractor, machinery, and engine show

Anyone know of any antique tractor, machinery, and engine shows comming up in the N.W. Ga. or N.E. ALA. area? Also any old time craft demonstrations or shows like Blacksmithing, chair canning and etc.? Anyone have any links to such events?
    Thanks for your time.

http://www.FarmCollectorShowDirectory.com is the book you want well worth the money covers all shows that send in info. What they have as far as extra's ole timey stuff along with the scrap iron, and old time skills. Covers 19 shows in the state of Ala. mostly in the north end but tends towards the west. 10 shows in GA. north half mostly. They are just sending out the pre publish for 2007 covers Canada also and Alaska.

One used to be held on Sand Mountain, in NE Ala, at or near Rainsville. And as I recall it was in the Nov-Early Dec timeframe. I remember seeing it listed in the HSM magazine a few years ago, but haven't seen any mention of it recently (last 2 or 3 years).

There's one held at Athens Ala in early-mid August each year. I think it was weekend of 12 Aug this year. I missed it tho.

There's also one at Brooks High School, on US hiway 72 at Killen Ala (east of Florence). It usually precedes the Athens show by a few weeks.

This might be a bit far for you to go, but there is an antique tractor and engine show in Eagleville, TN this weekend (Sept 8-10). Small but good show. I plan to go Saturday morning.
No matter where you go, there you are!
