I would really have to try to, but I wouldn't admit it if I had.

It might not look like much but if it worked at all it would still beat sawing by hand.

If it works, I like it.

It would look much better in green, though.

I could live with that, except for the "Automatic Switch Off". You have to set it carefully so that it cuts through the Power Cable at the right moment!

It's at least as handsome as the one my Dad built and which I recently rescued from a barn. Ugly and all, I'm keeping it because it's already saved me a lot of sweat! And I was able to knock out several projects over the weekend because I didn't have any excuse for cutting off pieces of CRS.

              Ugly, but....

If is stupid and it works, it is probably not stupid

I'm waiting for the "Household Robot" to reach the used market. Then some whizkid will take one and put a hacksaw in its hand/gripper and shazzam a power hacksaw!!!
Forty plus years and I still have ten toes, ten fingers and both eyes. I must be doing something right.

Hear, hear. Besides, there's a kind of cuteness in ugly machines.

The curse of having precise measuring tools is being able to actually see how imperfect everything is.
