    Lone Ranger and Tonto

What did the Lone Ranger say to Tonto on their way to the salvage yard?

To the dump, to the dump, to the dump dump dump!

    Best regards,

Alistair-- I know what you mean, although I would have to say that a lot of things that I haven't seen since I was a kid seem in some way "smaller" as an adult. I don't mean in size necessarily, but rather that the "gloss" they held in my nostalgic mind wasn't really there when I saw them again as an adult. Things are bigger than life when we are kids and maybe that is a good way to remember them.

I am 40 which means that I was a small kid back in the early 70's. Stuff like the Lone Ranger was in reruns by then, but many shows older than myself were, so I remember those reruns even as a part of my childhood too. I remember fondly watching the Andy Griffith Show, for example and still have a nostalgic place for it, even though they were a few years old when I saw them. Now kids watch ....well...I don't even know what they watch for sure, but it is probably Teletubbies or Transformer's or some such crap. I am not sure I want to be part of the world where kids look nostalgically at stuff that is really such crap. Or...perhaps nostalgia is coming to an end because the things that today's kids have will never be worth remembering fondly.

Here's to the Lone Ranger, Gilligan, Dennis the Menace, Our Miss Brooks, The Beaver, Barney Fife and the robot from Lost in Space.

Me know what you mean, kemo sabe. Many things smaller (house, street) than in old days, some things bigger (trees). Head hurt when think about it.

Me go into town to see what's happening. . .
          Cheers,

Crusader Rabbit, Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Untouchables,77 Sunset Strip, Sea Hunt,Dobbie Gilliss(sp?) with Mainard G Crebbs are some that I liked. It would be good to get all of the Untouchables series with Robert Stack on DVD.

              Next question please.

That's the first one I clicked on when I googled, Untouchables DVD.

They have all twenty seasons of Gunsmoke.

I liked Cheyenne, laramie, wagon train, lawman, and the virginian. If The Lone Ranger was on today, the pc bunch would go nuts.seemed like Kemo Sabay was always telling Tonto to build a fire,he had to go to town.

                      My Old Favorite

Revenge Of The Vibro Mamas a lesbian porn movie. I first viewed it when a bunch of us were 11 years old. Never forgot it. It kinda scared us a little back then if i remember correctly.

Gene, thanks for the site with the Untouchables DVD. $300+ US dollars!!! I'll have to think on that one for a bit
Alistair, Tamy was great. I had the 45rpm record of the song. I'm 56. My older brother bought a bright blue Cookie jacket. Really cool back then. Memories
