I'm curious why you went to so much trouble to build a shock absorber. You know, like the ones on cheap bicycle front forks, cars, screen door closers etc.
I'm wondering myself. The only thing I had to buy was one right-angle valve for $4. I had everything else. As it turns out, truing the pulley and replacing the belt took care of the problem.
I'm on to fixing the circle cutter now. (Grinding the dies)
