  • 90 HP Honda outboard lift ring ?????

Anyone know the thread size/pitch on a 2006 Honda 90 HP outboard lift ring?

It is a tool that threads into the top (flywheel) with a lift ring attached.

    Thanks for any info.

Everything on every Honda I've worked on, 2 or 4 wheels has been standard metric sizes, ie. 5x.08, 6x1, 8x1.25, 10,x1.5, 12x1.75.

This thing is big, like 38 or 40 mm, and fine threaded.

how annoying , need a special set up to screw into the flywheeland lift the engine .
Yammys have a ring bolted on already to the block. Must have cost them 15 cents to do it.

            Fine Metric threads

Digging around online. Couldn't find this in the Handbook:
            http://www.gewinde-normen.de/en/iso-fine-thread.html

Never knew about these ISO fine metric sizes. Jim
