Thanks Evan
I installed the K Lite mega codec, had to do some blind fiddling to get any video at all, and what I did get was much poorer quality than I'd been getting. So I went back to the players I'd been using. Guess I'll have to get used to the sawed off video window.

No corrections but a suggestion. Download and install the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack. It includes an older version of media player and will give the ability to play every video format in existence including Real Player and Quicktime. IIRC, it is a pretty big download but it works great.

Thank you mochinist. I tried it, but don't have the manage how opens tab. I appreciate you trying. Not exactly porn, was having a lot of problems watching Wavelet TV's Africam with IE.

Tools>options>manage how firefox opens up certain types of files- then choose the media player of your choice for the type of porn err I mean video file you are looking at. Hope that helps, if not Evan will more than likely correct me.

Firefox ?
I installed Firefox, was hoping for better viewing of streaming video. It works ok except for the window size on the media player, it's only about 2/3 as tall as the windows media player. Is there a way to stretch the vertical height of this window, or can another player, such as realplayer or windows media player, be used with Firefox? Thanks.
Edit to give more info. The Firefox version is 2, it includes an Adobe dash? media player. The computer is a Dell dimension 4700 running windows XP home edition. I still haven't found a way to resize the display window, or to use a different media player with Firefox. Thanks again.Last edited by J Harp; 01-10-2007, 06:16 PM.Tags: None
