Long Table

Hello I am interested in building a table that is almost twenty feet long. It is made from two inch .120 tube and the tilting table mechanism is made from .065 3/4 x1.5 inch tube. Any hints on jigging it so it stays straight. I have a piece of 4 ft. by 8 ft. steel plate to build it on. Thanx Audrey

We used to build stuff like this just on the concrete slab. You can snap layout lines on the slab and work from there if you like. If you have a smooth flat one you are laughing. Build it upside down. Top first, then add stuff to it making sure it stays square - then flip it over and its done.
