  • Any experience with bench top knee mill?

Does anyone have any experience with the Grizzly/Jet/Enco bench top "Knee Mill"?

I will be milling small parts, mostly gunsmith related type projects. I know a knee mill is much more convienent to use than a Mill-drill. What's the concensus??

I've used both. The knee mill is nicer in that it's more ridged, you can move the knee up and down without loosing your setup, and the head rotates and pivots. But, the mill/drill is lighter (which is why I got it considering the location of my first shop) and the capacity is greater. If you look at the knee mill I belive you will find that the table is smaller and x and Y travel may be smaller as well.
