"Carolina" saw....?

Is a "Carolina" saw trying to be like a Kalamazoo.....probably in some poor salesmans mind......Worlds apart from the sounds of it.
Probably nothing beyond a sticker.....

Give 'em a break He's got a folder with pictures for several auctions, and the T&C grinder pictures start with picture number 4. I've seen that a lot on Ebay.

That Murahashi T&C grinder is pretty neat -- it looks like a copy of my Brown and Sharpe Number 5. The B&S No. 5 is very similar to the Cincinnati Number 1 -- I don't know who copied who...

Bought a Carolina saw from their "authorized dealer", off the back of a pickup truck, in my driveway, along with a hydraulic press, (you should never trust door to door salesmen). Bought them real cheap, and still felt screwed, about 2 weeks later, when the hydraulic ram assembly started leaking. The saw worked great, as long as the cut didn't need to straight or square, finally gave up on trying to get the saw to cut straight, sold it to a scrap dealer, who used it to cut up scrap, so it was easier to handle. He later said he scraped it as it was junk.

The cutest feature is it's a "Carolina" saw, possibly the cheapest POS around aside from HF. And I've heard that the HF ones work better, or at least longer.
