i needed a stand for my miter saw so i got my landlords old BBQ that they did not want so i thought way not puon on a platform and mod it for my saw now i have a miter saw on wheels and its mounted very sturdy as well on to the frame
Well, nicely done, but not what I envisioned. My minds eye saw the mitre saw mounted in the top half behind the temperature gauge, and a hose leading from the propane tank to the side of the motor.
I seldom do anything within the scope of logical reason and calculated cost/benefit, etc- I'm following my passion-
Thanks for the simple solution. It just so happens to be the inorganic rubbish collection in my town. I have a drop saw that sits on the floor and is a bugger cart around and to set up (for me). So, guess what I`m doing sometime next week
Evan would have turned a saw into a BBQ had the fuse not blown out

It is true, there is nothing free about freedom, don't be so quick to give it away.
Hey cool job! It reminds me of some of my half-brained semi-recycled projects. I wonder if being a packrat will ever really pay off? Have fun! Sidegrinder.
