    Ok, I have finally broken down and got an account at photobucket. I had a heck of a time getting it without getting my cell phone # though.

        Is it a mold you made, for casting parts for a model locomotive?

          Thomas, Yea, I guess i didn't explain what I was actually making.
          These are molding boxes for the air set molding process used by foundries to make molds for castings. These boxes contain patterns for 2 pair of flywheels and 2 connecting rods.

          I am building a 3/8 scale model of a 2 hp Baker ball hopper Monitor engine. If you want details, email me off the board. I plan to post some pictures when the castings come in, and when the engine is built.
