  • Rigid see snake

This thing is cool, like a video Bore scope. No, it is a video bore scope.

I got one off Ebay for $175 shipped, I am happy with it.

    Iowolf,

I'm very envious, I bought a bore scope with a built in 5 megapixel still camera last year, from a Swiss company, and for a lot more money, I think video would be a lot better. Mine has a regular bore scope view port, the interface is awkward, and you get to see your images right away.

      Rigid see snakes.....

      IOWOLF;
$ 175...!!! You stole it, if it works & came with some snake.
Most plumbers (if they had one) would charge more than that to put one down your main sewer for a look see....

Yea, I always wanted to know what it looked like with my eyes open and no smell.

And it is easier on the neck.

Wouldn't be much fun using one for a cystoscopy though.

Thank you to our families of soldiers, many of whom have given so much more then the rest of us for the Freedom we enjoy.

It is true, there is nothing free about freedom, don't be so quick to give it away.

                        "Bore scope" ???

I've been wanting a firearms bore scope for some time, but not wanting it bad enough to pay the $750 for those offered at Midway and the like. Being a "fixer", I don't feel compelled to stick to the mainstream when I want something, and I suspect most who post at this site are of a similar mind.

That being the case, I looked long and hard at these "scopes", but decided against them because it does not appear to me that one would fit in a rifle barrel of caliber smaller than at least 0.375", and maybe larger. While I have several rifles of that caliber or larger, I would certainly like to be able to go down to at least 0.257" (which is more like 0.245" for these purposes).

What is the O.D. of the 'snake' on this item?

                        Thanks,
                        Paul

Which, unless I'm missing something, makes it of marginal value as a firearm bore scope - except for 12 ga and larger bores.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I would buy one in a heartbeat.
