    While researching LEDs I found what seems some very interesting online seminars for those interested in electronics. It's hosted by National Semiconductor with guests from other companies in the industry. Coincidentally, this months seminar is about LEDs.

    That's Bob Pease (who looks like Santa Clause) one of the most famous analog designers -- he's brilliant. He's had a column in Electronic Design for the last 30 years called "Pease's Porridge" -- they're a great read.

    His picture here looks like a very ominous Santa Clause (he knows if you've been good or bad... )

      It was probably he who made up the bumper sticker "One op amp is worth a thousand gates". The LM386 is a good example of that.
