    Has anyone had anything to do with Lantaine Bench Lathes.

    Early Taiwan lathes, mostly sold in Canada.
    Old enough that condition can vary quite a bit- so one could be totally worn out, another pretty decent.
    Never real high quality, but better than the really cheap stuff from the mainland.

      Hi

      Quite a few sold in australia and NZ under a variety of names. They are quite obvious that they are all Lantaines as well.

      No problems with mine. 1hp motor, imperial lead screw. power feed and surfacing. There were a 12x36 and a 12x24 and had hardened beds.
