  • Brass SHCS

I need 48 #2-56 Socket Head Cap Screws 1/4 in. made of brass. I have looked at all the usual suspects & have only come up with a company in the UK. Anyone have any suggestions.
    thanks

gr8, sorry no direct ideas, but you've peaked my curiosity - what are you making with 2/56 brass socket head screws?

Try www.microfasteners.com I think they are somewhere around $6.80 for 100 and I have bought from them serveral times. Good people to deal with. Get on site and have them send you a catalog or order on line.

Sorry I missed you post last nt. They are purely for looks on a 12 sided polygon ferris wheel, that is finished all but the brass SHCS

sounds like an interesting project - when do we get so see some pics? did you consider using model engineer size hex head bolts? easy to find and, depending on what you're modeling, more prototypical

A source for small-pattern hex bolts and nuts is the J.I. Morris company http://www.morris01550.com/

The LARGEST size they sell is 2-56!
