Magnetic holder for wavy parallels?

Does anyone have an opinion on whether putting wavies on a magnetic knife rack type holder would magnetize them, or would the closed loop nature of those racks with rails to both poles "close the loop" so the parallel just acts like a magnet keeper does, and not get magnetized. I'm pretty sure if it was just a plain magnet it would magnetize the wavy, but those holders don't seem to magnetize tools and knives stored on them.

I hate the little storage box, but I hate them floating around too.
