    I don't know about "Tungsten", but here's my home-made indexable, internal threading tool.
    I needed to make a backplate for my 4-Jaw chuck, so I swiped a threading insert from work, and made this snazzy holder for it.
    Real stout. It worked great!

      A few years ago I made a set of holders per the following link:

      To reduce changeovers on the inserts, I made a set for C2 and another for C6.

      Been very pleased with them but they work best on a sturdy lathe ( my 918 was a bit iffy but perfect for cast iron)

      They are fairly easy to make and a whole lot cheaper than to purchase.

          Thanks guys I have done this a vfew times and recently made a scrwewcutting removable insert holder I will post a few pics later Alistair excuse typing
