[QUOTE= "We don't want to see anyone get hurt over property."[/QUOTE]
Anyone who gets shot or injured, while stealing or otherwise interfering with
another persons property, deserves all they get.
I have heard it said, property is not worth dying for, this along with the above quote should be kept in mind by thieves and would be thieves.

The whole of the " ex-industrial manufacturing world," seems to be plagued by the same form of thieving scumbags, whether over your part of the world in the U.S.of A, or over here in the United Kingdom, Since China.com, & India, have started their greedy grabbing of anything of a metallic nature, it has got worse, Regarding the final fate of these chareacters, i couldnt give a damn, What concerns me, is the effect their conduct has on the victims, I will give two examples--- One from two days ago, I was in a factory being run by a friend of mine, one of the last general engineering concerns in the West of Scotland, and his foreman was saying to me that he and his fellow workers are heart roasted by chancing opportunist thieves coming into the factory, bold as brass, and trying to help themselves to anything lying about, even during the time theguys are working, and when chalenged all the workers get is abuse< and threats.
The second is a very tragic case, which occurred about five years ago, Another engineering concern i heard about, was run by an elderly gentleman ( about 80 odd years of age) and his son another soul about 45/ish years of age, who also was a director of the company, He, one morning came into his work, and suddenly died, This put the elderly gentleman in a very fragile state, He then decided to put the firm into liquidation, as he had totally lost heart, So all the plant was put up for sale , This was fairly heavy & good machine tools, To cut a long story short during one night some of our " ingenious caring &enterprising criminals !" forced entry to the factory, hired heavy lorries or similar plant and proceeded remove the machinery, By the morning-- Empty All gone! From what i have learned the shock of this felony finally was the end of the old fellow, These guys were eventually apprehended, but one can be certain, i can sure bet on one thing, all their human rights, would be carefully considered, and the punishment, would not fit the crime, And would anyone in authority consider the innocent victim?

Further qualify it that certain classifications must leave public service before getting the vote. Too many civil servants become just the opposite - neither civil nor servile when they become inperious bureaucrats.

Read Starship Troopers again. The franchise is not reserved to military vets but rather people who had enlisted for public service. Your service could be anything and the govt was actually required to enlist you for service if you wanted. If you were pretty much worthless that service could be as a lab rat to test new drugs, but at least at the end of your service you could vote
The point being you had to at least serve the public before you got a say in how the govt would be run.

Yeah, bring back the public gallows, make it real, if you are bad, you die. Or better than that? perfect the machine-human brain interface.. run the rascals as robots on assembly lines to compete with the chinese products. Scum working their fingers to the bone 24 hours a day suites me just fine.
Yeah, I'm still pissed off. I don't act like that and I don't understand why others do.
He also reserves the voting franchise for military veterans!

Darin hit it..
Darin hit it on the head..
Mommy and Daddy didn't whip the child when they were little so society must deal with ruthless, unmoraled, animals.
A bullwhip would work well on work farms raising vegetables with guard with shotguns and little questions asked about using them, ankle bracelets with remote control shock, I could devise something to target them narrowly, make them thrash about on the ground if they don't play nice.
Perhaps a 45acp round at last resort in the bracelet to make a one legged crook if he's real bad.. Anyways ankle braclets are another way to recognize them. Neck bracelets for the "other violent ones". Or A pill sized charge of C4 behind some shrapnel.
It's to the point where every inmate could be wearing one 24/7.. ever see how they act? They treat the guards like crap, sticking them with blood soaked pins, messing with them, spitting on them. AND he must endure it or quit. Too much crap just getting one of the animals outa his cage for his "required" yard exercise.
We need to hang a few crooked judges, make any police officer that breaks the law guilty of DOUBLE jail sentences. Put cameras on all the policemen, it would be easy to do. It'd support their good and just actions and deny their illegal ones. Too many people become policemen from ego related reasons.

My only problem with the article is that they referred to the owner as a “Vigilante”
He didn’t go tracking these thieves down…He is the victim who was stopping thieves from stealing his property.

Haha David,we have a new sheriff in town, literaly. He won election on the promise of cracking down on thieves and drugs. He has done both, now people are already grumpy about it because momma and daddy can't go down to the jail house and cry their brats out of jail anymore.Poor little kids end up on the side of the road picking up trash in the sun,boo f---ing hoo.
In the last four weeks his new department has arrested 125 people for drugs alone, his only problem now is where to put them all.I suggested hot bunking like they do in the Navy.First shift picks trash off the road, second sorts trash at the lanfill and third takes over school maintenance.

Monday morning SWMBO was walking the dog and happened upon two guys loading lawn mowers in the back of their truck from a neighbors yard. We don't particularly care for the neighbor but he has been out of the country for several months, so SWMBO questioned the low lifes and they gave her a BS story that didn't give her a warm and fuzzy so she called the cops. 20 min later the cop shows up and she tells him the story and gives him a description of the truck and the dirtbags. The cop says thanks for the info and leaves. Later that afternoon the cop comes back to tell us that these scumbags were caught stealing cast iron bath tubs used for water troughs at a farm just up the road from us. The cops arrested the scumbags and impounded the truck (loaded to the hilt). The cop thanked us for our assistance as they had other complaints about these guys in this particular truck. I felt like maybe the cops actually give a damn. The next day, I'm on my way to the post office and what do I see, these same two azz holes in the same truck, loaded with scrap. The cop probably spent a few hours busting these guys and doing the paperwork, and some bottom feeding, last in his class, can't get a good job, poor excuse of a lawyer, puts them back in business the next day so they can steal from someone else.
The guy in Maine has the right idea. The next time I see these particular scrappers in my neighborhood, I will call the cops to report an accident, 2 guys with 4 broken legs when a large piece of scrap metal fell on them.

Thieves
Thieves are acting unafraid world wide because the majority of the world is afraid. Problem is all "you" people.
I explained to my son, the homeless people in town don't have a thing to lose, if they are caught, they get a nice warm room and food, if they get away, they get something to sell for drugs and food. If they kill you, the food and warm room lasts longer. NO lethal injection, no electric chair, no hangmans noose. Pity the poor crook.
I quit calling the law, the Burgulars called them last time to rescue them from me and the neighbor.
WE have not had any problems since. Word gets around. I've had enough crap, I'm old & sick, worked for what I have. THE county told me I was not allowed to use a weapon in defense except for protection of my life, but the law says otherwise, I called and told the seargent to come by and explain it to me or apologize for chastising me so bad. He did niether, he did drive by real slow. GA senate bill 396.. read it well with all the provisions before you "post anything contradictory".
Problem is, no punishment to the criminals.. WORLD WIDE, if they ain't gonna arrest them cause all the meth addicts thieves are sick, they should spray paint them with dye so we can all recognize them for a few weeks. That is the gist of the problem, the county can't provide medical care for them. ANOTHER reason for free health care for stupid and poor people. No more expenses for the jail and prisons.

Heh. I can sure tell when sombody shows up that reads German. They don't come to the door. Sometimes they get back in the car and wait there. Considering that our biggest dog weighs something like 180 lbs and howls like a wolf instead of barking I don't blame them.

So if you have an Afgan hound you post the sign in Afgani so the dog can read it ?

agreed, Too easy for the culprit to say 'well, I ran out of gas and coasted into the parking lot that's why my truck was there.'
Frankly, I have no faith or respect in/for the police. Pretty bad when you consider that for many years the only thing that kept me from being a police officer was a heart problem.
ken.
