  • Tool ID pin-pal (gunsmiths?)

    Friend of mine picked this up in a box of gun reloading tools. Any idea what it's for? The $14.95 price tag says "the gunnery"

    Handle pivots, looks like the pin presses something out or in.

      Yep , Disassembles most any 1911 series pistol.

        The pin pushes out the mainspring housing retaining pin, the odd hole on the end holds the barrel bushing to unlock it from the slide, and I'm not sure what the folding tab end does...

          With the grips off, the folded section holds to the frame and allows the pivoted pin punch to remove the mainspring housing pin in a controlled manner, without use of a punch and hammer. No, no connection to the maker, but I picked one up years ago...
