Well I have spent 1and 1/2 days tearing my shop apart to clean and paint. And re organize . Man I have too much stuff and no place to put it . Out house is full and now the garage and I still have a shop full. May be I will get ride of some stuff after this. Pictures after it is done. I am going to hurt next week. Vacation is still a week off yet but thought I would get a head start.

Lane, your shop is one of the cleanest, most well-organized home shop I've ever seen. How you possible have needed to clean and re-paint?

Or more importantly, did you move the Van Norman so you could paint?

My buddy does commercial painting, everything that can move goes to the center of the room, gets covered and then the Bertha the airless comes out.

Too much stuff? I can take care of that for you. Just send your unwanted precision tools my way

Looking forward to seeing the pics! I like reorganizing and cleaning shop. Always satisfying and more fun to work in when its been changed around a bit.

My wife is going to start painting it tomorrow. Hows that for a good wife. I have half of it moved to one side . took all shelving out to day . Boy what a job. Unloading them was the hard part . 40,000 trips to garage to stack stuff. got to get some paint to repaint the shelves . think it is going to look nice when I`m done. I kept thinking when I retire was going to sell my house and move to country. But after this their ain`t no way . Haven`t even moved the lathes yet The Van Norman is the easy thing to move The grinder was a bitch. Every thing else is on wheels.

Just trying to help. How did you talk your wife into painting. My trick is to do such a bad job that she takes over. She paints and I do the cleanup.
            Good luck.
