  • Small Boiler Insulation

I build, rebuild and/or repair small boilers and am looking for a insulation that is no more than 1/4" thick. I have heard there are some semi flexible ceramic blanket type materials available and have not had much luck in finding a source. Of course hearing that there is such a material is not the same as actually being able to obtain some.

So I ask of you: What do you use, its description and source?

    Thanks

I used this product a few years ago for a fuel cell insulator on a jet engine test stand. It's an industrial product and I'm not sure where I got it from but, hey, it's worth a look.
