How does one acquire a back issue of Projects In Metal.
I'm looking for the April 1990 issue for the artical on making a 5C collet closer for a lathe.

    Thanks,
    Steve

If you are referring to "A 5C Collet Closer for your Shen-Wai Lathe" by Larry Van Duyn you can find it in MetalWorking, Book Two.

You probably can't get that back-issue--too old. But, there's a good chance that Village Press will send you a copy of the article. The price, as I remember, is $5. Nice people to do business with, too.

Shed, go to the Village Press home page, clik on Machinist's Workshop then back issues. Then call 800-447-7367.
