  • tool bit angles

    I had a chart that showed all the rake, relief angles etc. for HSS tool bits for different materials like steel, AL, brass etc. I can't find it at the present, does anyone have a similar chart they can post.

      This does not answer the question that you asked. I start with and use 7° on everything. About the only corrections that I make along the way are for boring bar applications and some brass cuttig tools.

          It's in a protected PDF file (no printing or coping) so I'll have to copy it and then I'll post it, it's not very large ,I'm just busy now. Maybe tomorrow.
