  • Weight of Cincinatti tool & cutter grinder

I have my eye on a cincinatti #2 tool and cutter grinder and was wondering what I need to take to pick it up. Can I put it in the back of 1/2 ton pickup or do I need my trailer?

Depending on the model 2190-2135#, that would be without accessories.

I reckon my No2 with the universal head (motor in the head) is just about a ton.

        Additional info

The serial number I go off the machine is 1D2T1M-241
        DPC-300335-C

there is also a K O Lee tool and cutter grinder too. I wondered which would be the better of the two. Once I get home I will try to get some pictures up. They won't be great because I just took them with my phone. I should have gotten the serial # off of the K O Lee too. I have a picture but not sure I can read it.

I haulled a Cincinnati #2, including quite a bit of tooling, from Knoxville, TN to western North Carolina in a 1984 GMC half ton pickup. It was about all the little truck wanted but I made it.

Here are a couple of pics, they turned out worse that I thought they would. Darn phone, you would think that by now I would just automatically take the camera with me. Here are the links

I have it all sewed up, just hope I made a good deal. Guess whether it is a good deal will have to weight and see what other goodies come with it. There are probably 100 different wheels that I saw but haven't seen the rest of the tooling yet. My plan is to pick it up next week, hopefully the roads will be better by then.

PS- Can anyone tell me anything else about this machine? Year, what I should look at when I get it etc.
