Any good bearing supply house will have them. They are called N washers and are used with wo nuts.

Perfect. They have exactly what I'm looking for.. their PW or PWT series.

We purchase the nuts/washers you're talking about (or similar) from Whittet-Higgins...

The company is Dorman/Motormite. And they do have a web-site.
If they don't have it, you'll probably have to make one.

I was looking for some a while back, and found them in the auto parts store. I can't remember the name of the company that sells small packages of miscellaneous parts on carousels in the parts stores, but that's where I found them.
I think they have a website, too.

Pretty much says it all.
These are the washers that you bend up a tab into a slot in the nut. As best I can tell, Mcmaster does not have them... they have tabbed lock washers but those are different. I need to replace some on a old machines so OEM isn't an option.Last edited by lakeside53; 03-16-2009, 03:43 PM.Tags: None
