  • bearing cup removel

    So how do you get a bearing cup out it is in my shaper in part s7-11a flange.So is it cut heat or pull and how do I do it. Bett

    a picture would be nice or at least a little explanation. can you get to the back of it? if so beat it out with a punch if you can't carefully weld a bead around the race way and it should fall out.

      The best way I have found is to run some weld beads around the inside, when it cools it will fall out.

        Ditto what Steve said. If you're are concerned about weld splatter then use anti splatter spray, grease or lard etc outside the weld region.

          From the drawings, you should be able to remove the flange assembly, (it is bolted on,) turn it over and press or punch it out.
