  • Sandpaper question

    I got a free roll of sandpaper. The working side look like a fine metal screen. For what application that kind of paper is used.

      Yes - it's often use to clean copper tubing prior to soldering.

      There are undoubtedly other uses. It's nice because it doesn't clog up like regular sandpaper.

        Sounds like drywall paper for sanding the joints after mudding.

          Yes, some drywall/ spackling sanding is done with this metal screen material. It doesn't clog and could be used for anything like fiberglass, or body filler or the like that has a tendency to clog up your sand paper.

            Great stuff!
            Seems to last forever sanding drywall joints.
