  • OT War Of The Worlds

-the unscrewing of the cylinder- that's about as close to metalworking as this gets. Right now I'm listening to the war of the worlds album. Narrated by Richard Burton, Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues does one of the songs- other artists I'm not familiar with.

Been a long time since I've heard this. Ring a bell with anyone?
I seldom do anything within the scope of logical reason and calculated cost/benefit, etc- I'm following my passion-

Rings many bells, this still tours very successfully as a show in the UK with a holographic Richard Burton.

IMS the other singers on the album are Julie Covington and David Essex. I always thought 'when 2 feet of shining screw protruded, suddenly the lid fell off!' was a bit low tech, but I've never read the book which was written in the late19th/early 20th century, so I don't know if this was lifted straight from the novel.

My favourite section is Thunderchild, not heard this for years, I think my parents have it on CD so may have to go and rummage.
