  • Skookum lathe table 1

My B2227L didn't come with a stand and I didn't like the optional one so I made one. My wife was impressed with the rigidity but she still wants a store bought harvest table for the dining room. Go figger, must be the lack of removable leaves??

First I anchored it to the poured concrete wall.

    Electrical and sheathing done.

    Table frame complete.

    Top on.

My Dad always said, "If you want people to do things for you on the farm, you have to buy a machine they can sit on that does most of the work."

Woah nice table. Most people say don't use wood for a lathe, but that will stand up no problem at all. Only sad part is the space you lose access to

Nice table! Nothing wrong with that.
Now add two open shelves under it to store lengths of round stock (or whatever type) and you are set.
