Here is my entry in the Sherline Challenge this past April at the NAMES Expo.

All motions were functional, swing, hoist and even crowd, and the trap door on the bucket functions. The "cables" that control hoist and crowd are routed through a hollow shaft that the house swings on. My original intention for the contest was to drive the motions with a motor driven set of cams to be placed under the base, but I ran out of time.

Pretty slick! I hope you are going to finish the motion mechanism. I like to see it running. Need smoke coming from the stack too!
