  • ID this micrometer carriage stop

    Came with my atlas lathe, I always thought it was for a south bend but now looking at south bend stops it looks different to me.

      I think it is South bend. They made several different designs. Gary P. Hansen

        Almost certain it is a South Bend. If it is, it will have a part number cast in. If you give that number, we can tell which lathe it is for.

          Only markings are a K 3 on the bottom.

            I'm not saying it isn't a South Bend unit but it doesn't look like any I have ever used on any of them I've run.
