      • Tonite I tore apart and rebuilt a broken trim wheel assembly. Wasn't too bad, once I drank enough cheap gin to kill off enough brain cells to start thinking like an engineer instead of a mechanic.

        • The handle on my squeegee in my car broke when I folded the back seats over on it and piled compressed wood fuel blocks on it:

Some wood glue and a 3" long deck screw:

          Good as new:

Oh, and remember when I was talking about finding a way to burn the sawdust from decomposed wood blocks? I filled an empty oatmeal container and tamped it down...

          • Helping my young fellow out with his car well not quite doing it for him might be closer to the truth I made up a lower radiator pipe to go over the top of the cross member in stead of under i as we felt it was vulnerable as the car is quite low so I made it up of 1 1/2 “ 316 ss off cuts it fitted quite nicely in the tacked form but the welds pulled a bit I think so tomorrow I’ll have to tweak it

                  Good simple food.

That american food will kill you.

                      • I've had great food from just about everywhere. According to my wife, l'll eat anything that doesn't eat me first! A steak burrito smothered with pork green chili and all the fixings, anykind of barbeque, corned beef with colcannon, yum. Unfortunately, at my age I have to ration these feasts.

Yep, looks like they cheated their way in again. I wonder what is cost them to buy-off the refs?

That was soooooo bad of a no-call. Even my mom wondered why they didn't call interference. And she is not a fan of football.

                              That's because it's "archaic"...
