I took it off the trailer with my hoist, then wheeled it over to the wall with the cherry picker.

I bought a Cincinnati #5 universal horizontal 80" mill several years ago, and the seller loaded it on the truck with their large overhead gantry crane using the eye bolt in the ram. I still have that eye bolt somewhere.
The mill weighs in about 5 tons, I couldn't watch and wouldn't pay for it until it was on the truck. I borrowed a 10 ton forklift to unload it and then rolled it into the shop on skates, and even that was a little nerve racking.

    • I'm just about to start the last episode in season 3 of Game of Thrones (S03E10). Up to this point, I've learned an incredible amount of character names. I now feel that I can reliably name about 10% of the main characters so far
I do believe Game of Thrones is something you can probably watch several times, and it wouldn't be as predictable as you might think as I expect you'll just understand that much more what is actually going on when watching it a 2nd, or a 3rd, or 4th time, etc. Another astonishing aspect of this show, is how many foundational characters die and get replaced by new ones. I expect there can only be one or two left by the time season 8 ends.

Everyone, do yourselves a favor and start watching Game of Thrones if you haven't already. You might have to force yourself to stay with it through the first 4-5 episodes so expect that going in, but you'll soon realize............. We'll, you'll see.

Over-and-Out..... I need to see how season 3 ends now.

      Back to cinematic excellence...

With that said, please do not watch the season premiere that is on tomorrow night, UNLESS you are all caught up, this is a show you must watch in order.

What so they can learn to use their minds and hands to be creative rather than being spoon fed mindless drivel from over-paid, spoiled and arrogant ego freaks?

I am on your side with this. We have a TV but not in the shop, dining area or my office. There is a time and a place for "entertainment" and the same for gaining life skills and interests.

Me either. Who has time to watch TV? Or, more accurately, who would spend their time watching that drivel. (all of it, not just the GOT thing)

Actually, when I was in RB211's line of work, there wasn't much else to do on most layovers, but when its my time, no way.

I watch youtube now when I watch tv stuff.

So they can learn about life and much else besides. It needs controlling but without it a kid is like a villager 500 years ago - knowing the few things adults and teachers had time to tell them directly and practically nothing about the outside world. TV provides information 100times faster. I speak from the experience of a boarding school without TV and holidays in a tiny village and a single TV channel, BBC1. However internet is now supplanting TV.

                              • Been doing some mantenance on my John Deere Air Seeder replacing bolts on seed boots, they are a pain to work on.This opener has been out for 30 yrs and the design department do a few thing completely ass backwards.2019 they resigned this opener still did not correct the errors from the original
Design I find that very ignorant that after that many years that the R&D would have not taken notes from the feed back from Dealers and Farmers.

A few years back Combine Harvester Engineers from the same company were at my Farm and I suggested a couple feature that needed improvement .The head guy with a red face said the company are very reluctant to do improvements ,even thou they know it would be better.
