Yes, you're quite right. There's no good reason to re-post something like that.

      • When my father was in Germany during the Occupation, they drank V2 rocket fuel (Ethanol and Hydrogen Peroxide), mixed with Coca-Cola, and he said it bleached the cola clear! This may not have been actually rocket fuel:
The alcohol and liquid oxygen were pumped into the combustion chamber by means of two fuel pumps mounted on a common axis. These powerful pumps were driven by a steam turbine with a power of 675 H.P. At full power the pumps had an output of 5000 revolutions per minute. Only this way could the 8.75 tons of fuel be delivered in 6 to 7 minutes. The pumping unit weighed 450 kilogram. The steam for the turbine was produced in a generator. Hydro peroxide and calcium permanganate were mixed in the generator. The resulting chemical reaction generated overheated steam, which drove the turbines.

I think it's safe to eat Sorbitol mixed with potassium nitrate (rocket candy).. I'm not promising I'll have it for lunch soon, but I am curious

                • Build and installed levelers for the mill. This is to get ready to move to South Dakota. So now I can move the mill with pallet jack and lift it up in the moving truck with a forklift.

                    • Over the past week all kinds of things are popping up with the grass and weeds. These seemed interesting:

I think it might be lavender:
Lavandula angustifolia Common name(s): Common, English or Garden Lavender and others Synonyme(s): N/A Family: Lamiaceae Origin: France, Italy, Spain More infos: Common Lavender is also available with pink and white flowers.

                      Or possibly bluebeard:
Caryopteris × clandonensis Common name(s): Bluebeard Synonyme(s): N/A Family: Lamiaceae Origin: the parent species are native to China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan (C. incana × C.

A closer look (but blurred because they were "blowin' in the wind")

nothing wrong with it, does not spread here, maybe we are colder. There are a couple related and very similar plants that may have different characteristics.
