I've seen mosquito traps powered by propane, uses carbon monoxide to attract mosquitos then trap them. Units I've seen can keep an acre of land free of the bastards.
I am curious if the traps that show up on Banggood that use UV and fans for indoors actually work?

I actually have one but I bought it around 15 years ago and I never set it up. I know some parts are on shelves in my shop and some in my basement, I wish I kept it all together. It also came with some type of attractant in little plastic containers that look like McDonalds Nugget sauce containers. I'm sure that is long gone and probably got tossed out during my last move.

The size of the machinery here in Michigan lately surprises me. Back 45 years ago when we were doing a little farming we pulled a planter with a Ford 8N. I saw a big articulated 4wd JD with duals pulling what appeared to be a 32 row corn planter in a field yesterday. Farming has sure changed a lot lately.

I bought one of those propane mosquito traps. It does trap mosquitoes but it seems like not as many as there are around. But the population does seems to go down and I don't notice as many around. I have it all set up again for this year. As soon as they start to come out I am going to fire it up right away and see what happens.
