Today, I underwent an operation to fix the cataracts in my right eye and have my vision corrected so it's good up close. If it turns out ok (needs a week to heal completely) I'll get the left eye done.Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

Made a brass bushing, two transfer studs, and hacksawed (power) 51 square inches of 1018. Also crashed an insert hard enough to slightly mess up the holder (swiveled 4-way tool post into spinning chuck) and chipped a tiny chip by running my fresh insert into the live center tip when checking center height. Oh well, mistakes happen.

I made a brass adapter that the neighbor behind me needed for a new sort of pond waterfall project. And several of us had a nice evening by the chiminea drinking beer and yakking. One of the few benefits of semi-urban life.
it's harder to go over to the neighbors' when they are a half mile away. We just walk to the back of the yard and go through the hidden gate.4357 2773 5150 9120 9135 8645 1007 1190 2133 9120 5942
