I'd have loved to Reggie! I did say to the guys digging (I was carrying away in buckets in my defense!) that if they wouldn't mind making it about ten feet deeper, we could make it into a bunker Given that it was solid clay with a delightful flint layer, they weren't all that keen!

Putting new blades and started patch up work on a couple of 10 foot bush hogs. One is a tow behind and the other is a three point hook up. Started to drill some drain holes in the mower deck with a magnetic drill.

Finished up a complete rehab on a 1990's Miller Bobcat for my brother. Damn thing had mud daubers packed in everything and the gas tank was full of green fur (among other problems).

Hougen HMD904 drilling 1 1/2" holes. It uses the 12000 series of annular cutters.

Nice Magdrill,are your cutters capable of stack cutting,I tried my Hougan RotoLoc Plus which are designed for that with no luck.I’m assuming your Bush Hogs gearboxs have to be timed for overlapping blades.

Looks very nice. I have the Hobart version of that welder bought new in 1996. Mine sure doesn’t look that nice, been down too many dirt roads on the back of Dodge service truck. Mine has 1,100 hrs and still runs good although I don’t use it much anymore. How many hours on yours?

Thanks for the compliments.
He is detail oriented, as am I, and I know he will appreciate my having gone the extra mile. Despite being 30 years old, it looks to be fairly low hours, but had sat unused for at least several years, and I must have cleaned out 10 pounds of mud nests as a first step. As an aside, a Sharpie does a great job of touching up scratches and chips!

How many hours on yours?

No idea, as it doesn't have the 'optional' hour meter.

No, not very capable which is a disappointment. As you know the slug is like a top hat and not very easy to get out of the hole even when moving the drill off to the side.
Yes, the blades have to be timed. One set at 12 and six o'clock; and the other at 3 and 9 o'clock. If a person only has a digital watch they are screwed.

Those 12000 series are available in stack cut versions,the bevel on bottom of cutter is from outside to inside eliminating the top hat that standard cutters leave on the plug.
NH twin rotor Combine Harvesters are timed in same manner,I assume JD new twin rotor X9 is the same.JD was only 45 years late stepping up to the plate in twin rotor technologies🤓

Thank you for that information on the cutters. I was not aware of that and will have to order some of those stack cut versions.
